    not far above Ryans Cross, on the right-hand side of the road. The graves are under a tree, which is called the Gallows tree. It is said that there were two people hanged on it in ninty eight, and that they were buried where they fell. There are other head-stones in the district but there are no legends connected with them or any knowledge of who was buried there.
