  1. Castlehill - It got his name from a house which was called the little-Castle and also because it is such a big hill
    The Long Hedge - It is so called from nature because it is about 60 yards long.
    The Lone Bush - It is so called from nature because it grows out out in the middle of a big field, and the branches only grow on top of the bush. It was said that when the buds used to grow on the middle of the bush the faries used to cut them off.
    Old Arnott's farm - It got its name from people connected with that place.
    The Coach Road - It is called that because Mr. Wandesford used to drive in his coach up and down it.
    Andy's Hill - It got its name from a person who lived there whose name was Andy Byan.
    The Gallows Tree - It got its name from the time that two men were hanged on it
