    Mr Ryan Gowran Co Kilkenny was a very good man in his day, he won a lot of prizes for swimming jumping & heavy weight throwing. He won a lot of prizes in the Regata in Thomastown for swimming.
    Martin Brennan was a very good walker he could walk from Clashwilliam to Dungarvan in half an hour. Jimy Kelly, Gowran was a very good dancer he won many prizes going here & there Feishes.
