  1. Ghost Story July 23rd 1934
There is a rath near my place called Rathcusack this is a very ancient place and the old people tell stories that on summer nights fairies are seen dancing and playing beautiful music.
One night there was a man coming along the road he heard beautiful music he thought to himself would he go into the rath. Then he went into the rath and saw crowds and crowds of fairies dancing. He asked them if he might join, they kindly accepted his offer he said he would beat all of them dancing. They danced until the man was nearly dead. Towards morning the man started to go home. Having arrived home he went to bed. The next night he was found dead.
