    he said "All I can do is to bless a ring around the tree and give you a basin of holy water, and when the woman comes hold the tree and shake the holy water until she vanishes".
    So he went to the spot and the woman came, but she was no longer a woman but a ball of fire. The man did as the friar told him. Soon she vanished, the man went home and died the next day.
