    ____________________
Once upon a time there lived a very wealthy man who owned many houses and land.
One night as it was getting dark, he went to see if his fields needed fencing. On his way he had to pass by a graveyard. As he was coming home he met the banshee whose terrifying cries made him shiver. The banshee followed him home and stayed crying outside the door all night. The man was so frightened that he began praying that God might drive her away. Morning came but there was no sign of her disappearing, so they sent for the priest. The priest made the sign of the Cross over her and she disappeared immediately.
