- The customs observed on the wedding day are as followers.
The brides father brings her up to the altar and gives her to the bridegroom. The ring is put on her finger and they are then married. When they are leaving the church the people throw rice at then and sometimes they fire shots for them. When they get into the car the bridegroom throws out coppers to the boys or girls who would be on the street. Then they go to breakfast and all the friends are invited.
