  1. I know a tinker and his name is Mick Delaney and his father comes to the Granges Road every summer about the month of August and he stays there for a few weeks. He builds a little tent with sticks and canvas and he puts a bundle of straw inside.
    He makes mugs and milk cans out of tin boxes and he mends old saucepans and kettels. He makes things for hanging flowers over a door. He sells them around the town for a few pence each.
    They travel from town to town in a donkey and cart.
