    Listen to my evening prayer,
    Let my sins be all forgiven,
    Bless the friends I love so well,
    Take me when I die to Heaven,
    Happy there with Thee to dwell,

    The following prayer is said when in bed at night:-
    "As I lie down this night to sleep,
    To God I give my soul to keep,
    If any evil spirit comes,
    Blessed spirit waken me
    They are four corners on my bed,
    Four angels over head,
    Mathew, Mark, Luke and John,
