  1. This old main road from Dublin to Cork is within a few fields of where I live. It ran along through Mantingstown, Garryricken, and Killamary. Bianconi cars used to pass by there twice every day bringing the mails and the passengers as there was no other means of travelling.
    These cars were very big with four horses drawing each of them.
