    to please, and had to get the best, or they would not make the suits to fit. Every man could be well dressed in Mullinavat from his own sheep.
    Spinning wheels and flax wheels were used here about one hundred and fifty years ago.
    At death a white sheet is pinned over the bed and a white sheet around two sides of the bed.
    The Mullinavat brides have a decided fancy for blue. "Married in blue always be true."

  2. There is only one tailor in Mullinavat at the present time. His name is Richard Holden. About thirty years ago there were ten or twelve tailors in Mullinavat but their business was ruined by the ready made clothes.
