  1. Many storires are told about gold hidden in bogs and ditches and such places. A pot of gold is hidden it O Sheas field in Buckstown under a flag. Many people thought to get it but a man appeared and would not allow them to dig it. One night a young girl dug it. Every night her house was on fire and men shouting out out the door 'leave back the gold.'
And she did so an the gold was never seen again.
