    A cure for consumption is dandelion tea. The way to make it is to boil the dandelion in water and drink it like tea.
    Another cure for consumption is melon. The melon should be boiled on milk.
    Ass'es milk is another cure also for consumption. A cure for warts is dandelion milk. The milk should be rubbed on the wart.
    A man by the name of Thomas Cleer from Newtown, Graiguenamanagh, Co Carlow is able to cure warts by a prayer.
    A cure for a boil is soot. The soot should be boiled on milk and drink it like tea.
    A cure for a cut is a spunk leaf. The leaf should be bandaged around the cut.
    A cure for a swelling is marshmallows and dried flour.
    A cure for a sore eye is to get a thorn from a gooseberry bush and point the thorn at the sore eye, and also to wash it in cold tea.
    A cure for a cut from a thorn is to make a poultice of sugar and soap and to boil it. Then put the poultice on the cut.
    Cures for burns are silken fern and a cabbage leaf.
