    Sore throat
    To cure a sore throat gargle your throat with salt and water and put hot salt in a stocking and put it around your neck.
    (2) Get black currants and boil the juice in fresh new milk and take a spoonful of the juice as many mornings as you are years.
    Sprains
    If you had a sprained leg hold it under a spout of spring water until it get hot and it would be cured.
    (2) Put the fat of a goose on a sprain and it would cure it.
