    And up to Paddy Difficy he quickly made his way
    Saying "Lock your door now Paddy and be sure to lock it right
    But I wonder if its' worth your while for sure 'tis near day light.

    Now this hen must be a villain or of devils be possessed
    And I think she's not fit company for a man so near professed.
    To think of all the bother she has brought about the place
    To pelt the neighbours fighting which is a pure disgrace.

    So all my pretty fair maids my advice I'd like you'd take
    To fall in love with this young man for a nice husband he would make.
    So to conclude and finish as I have no more to say
    I hope they'll all stop clocking and soon begin to lay.
