    When the cat is out the mice can play.
    A rolling stone gathers no moss.
    The truth is often bitter.
    Live horse and you get grass.
    A thing that is scarce is wonderful.
    It is a long road that has not a turn.
    Health is better than wealth.
    No matter how cute the fox he is caught in the end.
    Tis not the day of the wind the day of the scollop.
    There is no fire-place like your own fire-place.
    What would the son of a cat do only kill a mouse.
    No matter how long the day is the night falls.
    Green are the hills far away.
    A stitch in time saves nine.
    Walls have ears.
    A thing that is sweet is scarce.
    Nature breaks through the eyes of the cat.
    This is a song that was composed a year ago about the Clooneybrannan road. It was made up by Leo McDermott and Ignatius Farrell.
