    Although, there are but, few Holy Wells in my district, it is said that County Roscommon has more holy wells, called after St. Brigid (has more holy) than any County in Ireland.
    There is one holy well near Oran. There is a story told about it, concerning an old woman, who was suffering from Rheumatism for years. So one day, she made up her mind to go to this well, and as she came near,
