    said he heard her coming. They waited for her. When the with saw no one coming she thought her way was clear. She was coming in the shape of a wolf. When she came near to them they rushed upon her. Anvil-head gave her a puck but did kill her. She changed herself into a hare Run-well caught her and nearly killed her. When she was dying her two front paws changed into two hands. In her hand she held a wand. With it she changed the three dogs into three princes. The four of them went back to the old king then.
