    If a cat stis with her back to the fire it is a sign of cold weather. Some of the signs when it is going to rain are:-
    Dogs, cat grass, buttercups, bluebells ad pimpernels close up. Hens feather themselves, Crows fly home. Gulls screech, cows stand with their backs to the wind. Sheep graze energeically, goats cry loudly, Crickets sing, Soot falls down the chimney, water is dark in colour. Frogs croak and change their colour. If frogs are dark in colour it is a sign of a good harvest. If there are plenty
