    Long ago the Ballyteague people used to come across the fields to Mass.

    One time when a man named Pim owned te land where they used to go through to Mass, he made up his mind to stop them. He was a Protestant, and he hated to see the people going to Mass. So, every Sunday morning he would be there waiting, and when the people would come up he would order them to go back round by the road. One day the priest came across that way and he met Mr. Pim.
