    There was a hedge school near Jone's and a man named Mr O Keefe, used to teach the children.

    There was a hedge school near Jones' and a man named Mr. O'Keefe, used to teach the children. There was a school at the Skew Bridge and then it was a hall, and after that Dunne's from Derrymullen lived in it and now it is a forge.
