    some man to shoot the hare and he came and fired two or three shots at the hare but it was no use they could not kill him. Then they tried to drown him but they did not succeed. Then they said they would light a big fire outside and burn him and they threw him into the fire and he got out and three times they threw him into it but he came out of it the same as he went in and he ran in and under the bed. After a year the hare went away of his accord and they never saw him again and Mrs Lyons got better.
