  2. Local Cures
    Once upon a time a king was killed for his faith. The towel that dried his face was divided amongst seven families and the Nugents of Garisker was one of those families. If anyone had the Kings evil and got a bit of the towel and tied it around his neck he would be cured

    Mr Gilligan of Rhode, Co Offaly has a cure for external cancer. People come from all over Ireland to him. He is known to have cured people where great doctors failed. This cure has been in the family for years
