    Mr John Delaney of Balrennet, Co Kildare has a cure for Jaundice. He boils an herb in new milk and the patient has to take it three times a day and it cures in about a week. It has an awful bitter taste.
    Mrs Grehan of Ballinlig makes an ointment that cure 'The Blast'. This ointment has to be rubbed on for nine mornings, In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost
