  1. There are two forges in the district Tom Doona and Mick Doona. There fathers were smiths before them Tom Doona's forge is near a strem at Cappagh and Mick Doona's is at a cross in Kilgobnet. One of the forges in slated and the other is ironed. There is only hearth in the forges. The smith has many implements.

    He shoes horses and donkeys.
