    did not throw out the feet water the faries had to use it and that was the cause of her sickness. She got better and she threw out the feet water every other night. There are shoes repared in the district by Jim Shea. He puts soles and taobín and other things on them
    Sometimes people wear shoes with timber soles called "clogs" They are very uncomfortable warm shoes There were more shoemakers there long ago that now because nearly all shoes are made in the factories now.
    The people used never tan their (old) own leather but there was a tan yard in Killarney. The people never wore the skins of animals around their feet
