    Long ago they gave cows for fortune. It was considered lucky to give cows for a fortune.
    They went to Church on saddle-horses and the bridegroom would bring the bride home on the saddle-horse behind him and all the other saddle horses would be galloping behind him. The other men would have women behind them on the saddles too.
    It is not right to get married the cross day of the year. People do not get married in May and December.
    People of one family do not get married the same year.
    It is not lucky to have two weddings meet or to have a wedding meet a funeral.
