    Sign of rain
    If there is a big ring around the moon it is a sign that rain is near at hand but if its a small ring you will not have rain for a few days.
    A rainbow in the sky is a sign of showery weather.
    Wind blowing in the south west is a sign of rain. When blowing from the north - east is a sign of very cold weather.
    Crows flying up and down through the air is the sign of high wind, swallows flying very close to the ground is a sign of rain.
