  1. There is supposed to be a treasure hidden in Foulks Court. It was hidden by the monks under a bush because they were afraid Cromwell would get the treasure. There was a bell and altar vessels. A man in the district named Loughman went to look for it but he did not succeed. It is said that it is there yet. There is a light to be seen by the people in the district.
