    came to Castlecomer and down to Dysart so the people would not let him cross the river and they Stole his goats. When he found his goats were gone he put a curse on the rushes. The curse was that there would never be a green top on the rushes. He also put a curse on the stones of the river. The curse was that there would never anyone cross the river on the stones but he would fall into the river. After a while they let him cross the river so he went on down to south Kilkenny.
