  1. There is a mound near the road to Ballyragget and old people say there is a man buried there. The man must have been a good friend of the fairies, becuse one night as a man was passing by the mound he was supposed to see fairies around the mound crying. When he told his friends the story they said that he must have passed the mound the very hour the man died.
