  1. Near Wandesfords there is a big hole in the ground where people used to be hanged and along side that there is the remains of a forth. It is said that in that place Cromwell used to hang his enemies and keep prisoners there. There is a small patch beside this shaded in with trees and you can notice the shapes of graves there.
