the reason it is called that name now.
There is another palce about a half a mile from our house named "Shaw Mor" It is towards the west and a mile and a half north of Emlaghnaghten School. it got its name from a man named Shaw who was a landlord in the old days.
Emlaghnaghten is the name of the townland in which this school is built. Imleach means an edge and sometimes means a marshy place. Naughton was a man who owned this place long ago
