  1. About two miles from our school in the townland of Tatnadonagh, Ballinode, Parish of Tydavnet lived a man and he felt very unhappy. The man was called William Morrow. This morning he went out to an ash tree in his garden, and cut his throat. Some neighbours were passing by, and they saw something at this tree. They rushed over and saw it was William. A couple of days later he was buried. This happened in the year 1837.
