    he did was to redden the iron and make it what-ever shape he wanted it. Then he got a hammer for cutting the iron and cut it what-ever length he wanted it. These are the names of the tools he used a hammer for cutting the iron and another for driving it through the iron and a pair of nippers for holding the red iron. He also has a hammer for hammering the iron on.
    Long ago all the corn was threshed with two sticks tied together with a rope and beaten the head of the corn.
    Patrick Cadden was a churn and barrel man. He got long flat boards and nailed them together until he had it all done round and then put a flat bottom in it. Then he put hoops round the outside of it to keep it together.
    Thatching was all done by the hand. first thing you had to get scollops. Then you had to get straw and pin it to the roof with the scollop.
