    Hounds and hares.
    A few children run away and hide and shout when they are hidden. These are the hares. Two or three are chosen as hounds and these follow and try to catch the hares, when each child is caught their throats are cut with hands.

    The pastime of the children is bird-nesting counting nests and finding out the different varieties of birds
