Toothache - Place a worm taken from the earth across the tongue.
Whooping Cough - Ferrets milk was taken by the patient. A ferret was given milk and allowed to drink a quantity of it, the remainder was given to the patient.
Two persons of the same name married have the cure for whooping cough.
Mumps - Creeping under the stomack of a donkey.
Cold - Dalk seeds boiled in milk, this was strained and the liquid taken.
Warts - The juice of a herb "Seven Sisters", was applied to warts, also roased ivy leaves.
Sprains - "Wellink", a plant of a dark green colour found in swampy places boiled and used as a poultise.
Stomach trouble - "Rose Noble", leaves boiled and the water taken, "Woodbine" used in the same way.
Earache - parafinn oil.
Jaundice - Pith of "Jaundy bush" stewed and taken(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Bailitheoir
