  1. In Barnadonagh, Carrickmacross, Co Monaghan there lives a man named Terry Sharkie who makes baskets. The way he makes them is - first he gets sally rods, and then he forms a ring with a thick rod. And from that ring he puts fine rods to make the shape of the basket; then he twines finer rods in and out through the fine rods till he has it made.
