For instance the seventh son or daughter whose father died before the child was born had the cure of thrush. It was the fact of blowing their breath on the patient and at the same time reciting certain prayers that effected a cure.
Children suffering from the Whooping Cough found the cure in drinking as ass's milk.
The procedure was to pass the child three times times under the donkey before giving it some ferrets leavings to drink. It was got by giving the ferret milk; part of which it was allowed to drink. The remainder was given to the child.
The seventh consecutive son of the family had the cure of the Ring - worm provided that after he was born a worm was let die in his hand.
A deeply - bedded thorn in the hand was taken out by the simple process of rubbing a fox's tongue over the effected part.
