   The next two fields "Dillion's and Conolly's"
   are so called because men of that name once held them on the "eleven months system" a similar reason is applicable to the field known as "Days Field"
   The "Castle Field" is so called owing to a large, stone fort being built within its boundary.
   "Cragga's come next. They include three field and are believed to be so called because of their close proximity to the old Catholic Church named "Cragga" which the people attended before the present one was built in Monasteraden.
   Then we have the "Mission Field"
   It derives its name from the fact that the Protestant Church and Minister's residence was built within it original boundary.
   Lastly we have the "Barrack field" owing its name to the building of the old R.I.C. Barracks on a part of its area.
   I may mention that the four last named fields have been sold for years by the landlord to the Land Commission and though now in occupation by the tenants they will retain their original names.
