  1. One night when a man was going from Ballymote to Rathdooney after midnight, he saw three women dressed as nuns walking on the road in front of him, near an old residence in Ballymote. He wondered to see nuns in such a place and when he turned round to look at them they disappeared.
    A man and his wife were driving on a side car towards Battlefield one moonlight night after 2 o'clock. Coming towards them on the road was an old woman dress in a very antique costume that no woman wore anything like it for centuries. The wife said to the man Arah! who is herself? Never mind her said her husband, don't bother about her and suddenly the ghost disappeared
