    of men dress themselves with old rags and straw hats. Then they get a turnip or a big potato out of which they make the form of a man. Then they dress it with old rags and name it "Biddy". This being done they get some musical instrument to play on. They go about from house to house dancing and singing and beging money to bury Biddy. Then they divide the money between them and on the following day they bury "Biddy".
    I have seen this going on for a number of years.
