    Once upon a time there lived in a little cabin a man named Micky and his wife Biddy.

    Once upon a time there lived in a little cabin a man named Micky and his wife Biddy. They were very wealthy at first, but his wife was very extravagant and as the years passed their wealth vanished.
    This pair had nothing left now but one cow and to get something to eat Micky decided to kill her. Having her killed he divided her in pieces leaving a piece for every head of cabbage in the garden and a piece for the sore foot as he said himself.
