  1. Farmers living in my district having livestock to sell or buy visit the following towns, where monthly fairs are held namely : - Coolaney, Collooney, Ballymote, and Tubbercurry. A good few years ago fairs were held in Ballinacarrow.
    Why they ceased to be nobody seems able to tell me. It must be a bit awkward for buyers railing cattle as the nearest railway station would be a distance of four or five miles so that might be one of the reasons why it fell through.
