    Long ago the old people used to know when they would have fine weather by the following signs : -
    1. If the frogs were yellow.
    2. If the sun sets red in the west
    3. A rainbow at night.
    4. If the swallow fly high.
    5. If the smoke goes up straight from the chimneys.
