    Garlic:-
    This is supposed to cure all ills for colic, (It is boiled in milk and drank). For toothache, for colds, and as a preventative against colds and infectious diseases.
    Nine diseases shiver before the garlic. To obtain the full effect of garlic it should be set between the 17th and 35th March and pulled between Big Lady Day and Small Lady Day.
    Carraigín:-
    It is splendid for colds and chest troubles generally.
