    Ceann na Searrach Wind.
In the month of May a very sharp piercing wind blows from this point and it is locally called Ceann na Searrach wind. It is also called [??]. It burns and withers leaves of the trees and potato stalks and sometimes a red rain comes with it which is very destructive to vegetation of all sorts.
