While reading the perspiration could be seen dropping from his face and hands. After a little he whistled & then continued his reading. He whistled a second time & continued his reading again.
The third time he whisted & immediately after this whistle the father could be seen by all present standing at the end of the dinner table, The priest then asked "Where were you when I whistled the first time?" The man answered "on the top of my head in hell." "Where were you when I whistled the second time"? said the priest. "Coming here as fast as I could " said the man. "Where were you when I whistled the third time"? "Standing outside the door waiting for you to allow me in", said the man.
"Now," said the priest to the young fellow, "he is here now and you can do what you like with him." All in the room were scared to death & the young fellow offered the priest all his wealth & possessions if he would send him back again to where he came from.
After much persuasion the priest did as requested.
