  1. A burn of a nettle is cured by breaking a dock-leaf and rubbing it to the burn.
    "Crane's Bill" a herb that grows in old disused walls and dry fences is a cure for rheumatics. It should be boiled slowly for a couple of hours, and when the water cools off to drink it. It is coloured black, and tastes like cold tea.
