    had to get up in the morning early and make the bread for the breakfast. The bread was wet with water and baked in a grid-oven. There were six kinds of bread namely wheaten bread, oaten bread, barley bread, stampy boxty cake and rye bread. Wheaten bread was made from wheat ground. Barley bread made from barley ground. Oaten bread was made from oats ground. Boxty cach cake was made from Indian meal wet with boiling water and stampy made from grated potatoes.
